Some years ago, I followed a VR course at our University in which we learned all possibilities about the software Kuula and Thinglink. The simulation automated house in the lab smart buildings & IOT at University Odisee Ghent has been virtualized with Thinglink within a project with students. By activating some buttons, one can see the effect in the domotic house (e.g. switching on or off the lights). The result can be found in the portfolio. The current project consists of virtualizing the domotic house (without 360° pictures, but only by software). By using a VR-glasses (such as the oculus Rift) we will be able to walk into the house and interactively control all electrical users. A tour similar to Google expeditions will be made for walking virtually in the domotic lab (also a current project). A 360° picture has been made of the lab and can be found in the portfolio.
