Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dursun Akaslan

Dursun Akaslan, an Assoc. Prof. Dr., is an expert in the field of 3D, VR, 3D printers, 3D filaments and gaming. In 2021, he set up a company, called Leukolion Informatics, to be a leading provider of 3D technologies in the field of modelling, texturing, lighting and animating. He graduated from the Department of Electrical Education in Marmara University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2016. Then, After graduation, he gained a Turkish government scholarship and completed his MA (ICT and Education) and PhD (Computer Science) in the University of Leeds (2019) and University of Leicester (2015), England, United Kingdom. He is the conference chair of the 2nd and 3rd International Conference on Virtual Reality, Harran University, Turkey. He instensively give tutorials on computer graphics, computer and web game programming and development. Moreover, he is running a VR lab in the Harran University. He published many conference papers and journal articles related to virtual reality.
