I am XR Technology Specialist and R&D Lead at Helsinki XR Center (https://helsinkixrcenter.com). Helsinki XR Center is developer hub for XR technologies. Our activities include support for early stage startup teams, offering them office space, equipment, mentoring etc. We also participate in research and development projects on national and international level. And finally, we aim to move the Finnish XR industry forward, mainly through our showroom activities, displaying the greatest hits of Finnish XR, and organizing events such as Match XR, the biggest XR industry event in Finland. My expertise and latest experience regarding XR technologies relates to multiplayer VR applications, location-based AR, medical applications, training applications, VR in education and VR event production. Before Helsinki XR Center, I have worked as a researcher in University of Tampere and have experience in virtual reality, augmented reality, gesture-based interaction, game development, speech interaction, mobile applications and plenty of other fields.
